A bandana is great for sun protection under a baseball cap, as a wet cloth tied around your neck, a wash cloth, or hanky. If you are hiking the Bright Angel Trail, you might find one helpful in blocking dust on the trail from the passing mules. The Grand Canyon National Park design highlights the entire length of Grand Canyon and lists many points of interest, flora/fauna notes and general facts.

Gloves Fox River Wick Dry

Polypropylene liner gloves, good by themselves for a little extra warmth and/or protection from the sun and wind. Some people also like to use these on some hikes to protect hands from hot rocks they may have to grasp. Paddle Jacket NRS Rio

Best for cooler weather trips or for people who get cold easily. Pull-over style, which means no zipper for water to seep in. Wind proof, durable urethane-coated 210 denier nylon oxford, cut big to allow layering for extra warmth. Features a hood, which most paddle jackets do not have. Snug soft neoprene neck and wrist closures, also a drawstring at bottom hem works well to help keep water out.

Our White Sierra Men’s Trabagon Rain Pants is a super lightweight and waterproof garment with Teflon fabric protector. Taped seams throughout with a secure zip thigh pocket for packability, fully elasticated waistband, bungee and cord-lock for adjustable waistband. The legs have an expandable leg opening with snap and closure with an inseam of 32”. These rain pants are perfect for every outdoor adventure!

Sarong "Surprise Me" Assorted

These assorted "Surprise me" sarongs come in hundreds of dynamic or simple patterns and in brilliant or subdued colors. We have posted an example of only a few. On rafting trips between May and Sept this is probably the most useful item you can bring. Used as a cooling wrap, shawl or lap cover when wet, a changing room for instant privacy, a towel, a quick ground cover to keep your personal items out of the sand while you sort through your stuff, or as an attractive wrap. We consistently get comments from our guests saying "it saved my life", "these should be mandatory", and "my husband stole mine". Sarongs are definitely a unisex item!

A great item to have on the river for BOTH men and women! Made of 100% soft and supple rayon, will help keep you cool as a wet wrap along with protecting you from the sun. Also great to wear in camp, use as a towel, or function as a privacy screen for changing. Assorted colors in one of AzRA's logos the "Many People" petroglyph pattern. A personal favorite for both our guides and guests traveling in May, June, July and August, and September, but useful all year and on vacations off the river. Our guests regularly tell us how this was the most useful item they had on their trip!
